Next Month, Los Angeles Welcomes Back the Copa del Rave Charity Soccer Tournament for the Electronic Industry

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

The anticipated Copa del Rave soccer tournament makes a comeback to Los Angeles on November 2.

This electrifying event in the electronic music scene gathers players from leading industry groups like CREATE Music Group, Capitol Music Group, Downtown Music, INFAMOUS, Red Light Management, and others.

Los Angeles will resonate with the beats of renowned DJs such as Ardalan (also a co-founder of the event), Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Xie, Zomboy, Zen Freeman, EDDIE, Borgore, among others still to be unveiled.

Teams will represent various music groups, including Symphonic Distribution, YourArmy/ATC, and The Free Agents. This thrilling contest takes place in L.A.’s unique Frogtown at Evolve L.A. Matches kick off at 3 p.m., wrapping up by 8 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to contribute a donation, with competing teams also making a contribution. The triumphant team will have the honor of selecting the beneficiary charity for the funds amassed.

The past three Copa del Rave tournaments have been impactful, amassing over $40,000 in donations. Beneficiaries have included the LA Mission, assisting the city’s homeless; MusicCares, extending a hand to those in the music sector facing challenges; and Give a Beat, championing those affected by the justice system via music.

With previous participants like Diplo, GG Magree, Wax Motif, Ardalan, TEED, The Chainsmokers, and many more, the event has witnessed tremendous talent on the field. Last year saw Kappa clinch the title, while Red Light Management secured the top spot in the two preceding tournaments.

In a unified voice, the tournament’s creators, Alastair Duncan, Jonathan McDonald, and Ardalan shared, “Copa del Rave returns! Age might make us a tad more susceptible to injuries, yet the passion remains undiminished. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to all participating teams and DJs, who are ready to play for a noble cause.”
