Medellín, Colombia – The world-renowned electronic music festival Tomorrowland is set to expand its horizons with the announcement of its new CORE stage, which will be featured at a two-day festival in Medellín, Colombia. This highly anticipated event, a collaboration with Colombia’s Breakfast Club, is scheduled for the 11th and 12th of May and is expected to draw over 20,000 attendees to the picturesque Jardín Botánico de Medellín.

A Global Debut: The CORE stage, which made its global debut last weekend in Mexico, represents a significant milestone for Tomorrowland. After more than a year of meticulous planning by the festival’s in-house creative team, the stage was unveiled at CORE Tulum on the 13th of January. Described as a daring 3D design concept that once seemed nearly impossible, the CORE stage has been brought to life, transforming wild dreams into tangible reality.

The CORE Stage: A Marvel of Design and Technology: CORE’s inaugural outing in Tulum was lauded for its seamless integration into the natural jungle scenery, featuring a rocky structure with natural and water elements. The stage stands at an impressive 17 meters high and 30 meters wide, boasting 209 moving lights, water geysers, LED flares, fog machines, and more. This immersive experience promises to be a visual and auditory feast for festival-goers.

Tomorrowland’s Expanding Footprint: The CORE stage is officially confirmed to appear at Tomorrowland’s flagship festival in Belgium in 2024, with plans to bring the stage to various continents and countries. The focus is on unique locations that harmonize with nature, underscoring Tomorrowland’s commitment to immersive, environment-centric experiences.

In addition to the CORE stage, Tomorrowland has also ventured into Virtual Reality (VR) with ‘The Great Library of Tomorrow’ exhibition in Barcelona. This immersive VR experience, located in the Aribau Immersive Space, offers a one-hour journey centered around the festival’s enchanting fantasy themes.

As excitement builds, pre-sale tickets for the Medellín festival will be available from February 6th at 10:00 EST, lasting for 72 hours. This event not only marks a new chapter for Tomorrowland but also showcases Medellín as a burgeoning hotspot for major international music festivals. With its lush botanical setting and innovative stage design, the festival is set to offer a unique and unforgettable experience, blending the vibrancy of electronic music with the beauty of Colombia’s natural landscapes.
