Staci Robinson isn’t new to the scene. She has an impressive track record that includes works like “Tupac Remembered, Bearing Witness to a Life and Legacy,” the novel “Interceptions,” and the film “The Bounce Back.” She’s also associated with the upcoming FX documentary, “Dear Mama: The Saga of Afeni and Tupac Shakur,” scheduled to premiere next April.
Highlighting the depth of the upcoming biography, an Instagram post from @2pacunlimited mentioned, “This is not just a retelling; it’s an intimate journey into his life and enduring influence, enriched with handwritten poems, snapshots, keepsakes, and more. Staci Robinson, a prolific author and scriptwriter who shared bonds with ‘Pac in his formative years, was chosen by his late mother, Afeni Shakur, for this endeavor. She delves deep, shedding light on the enigma surrounding him, drawing from private journals, unpublished verses, and candid conversations with those who knew him intimately. Aside from her work on ‘Tupac Remembered’, Robinson is also linked to the forthcoming FX documentary, ‘Dear Mama: The Saga of Afeni and Tupac Shakur,’ which airs on April 21.”
