Austria’s Snowbombing Festival is gearing up for its monumental 25th edition this coming April with the announcement of its phase one artist.
Set to transform Mayrhofen, Austria, into a winter music paradise from April 8-13, 2024, Snowbombing’s “greatest show on snow” promises an unforgettable experience with over 30 electronic artists performing at iconic venues such as the Racket Club, Fun Haus, and Bruck ‘n’ Stadl.
Highlighting the announcement, the festival revealed the participation of electronic music legend Fatboy Slim, a regular at Snowbombing, alongside Bicep, known for their mesmerizing Chroma audiovisual act previously announced as a headliner.
Fans can also anticipate performances from DnB powerhouse Andy C, a special DJ set by Confidence Man, Chris Stussy, Hybrid Minds, Ewan McVicar, Jayda G, and a plethora of other artists. Additionally, Snowbombing 2024 ensures a strong underground presence, featuring artists such as Joy Orbison, HAAi, and Chloé Caillet.
Stage takeovers for 2024 have started making headlines with Defected’s Glitterbox imprint set to infuse the slopes with house and disco vibes. Additionally, the progressive LGBTQ+ event series HE.SHE.THEY. will be part of the festival’s diverse offerings.
True to its reputation, Snowbombing extends beyond music, offering guests an array of winter activities throughout the week, from ski lessons to the unique experience of chairlift speed-dating and even the thrill of paragliding.
