Tomorrowland 2020 may have been cancelled due to COVID-19 but the organisers of Tomorrowland have other plans in place. Around The World is a concept where an unlimited amount of fans can view any stage they wish. This is made possible by electronic wizardry that allows us EDM fans to view any stage at any time. One World Radio have created the “Around the World” countdown to get people into the groove of things. Tomorrowland Around the World commences at 4 PM CEST on Saturday, July 25. It will conclude at 1 AM CEST on Sunday, July 26.
The Around the World line-up of artists is also something to be excited about. With the usual Mainstage lineup of David Guetta, Don Diablo and Tiësto, it should feel very normal. Even Katy Perry wants some of the action and she will be performing on the Saturday to millions around the world.
Like many Tomorrowland festivals in the last five years, Martin Garrix will close off the weekend with his set starting at midnight (CEST). Before the fireworks and amazing graphics display, One World have decided to do a special countdown YouTube livestream featuring multiple artists.
The One World Radio Show, hosted by Adam K and NERVO, will see 14 DJs drop by the studio to talk about various projects. Artists like Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Paul Kalkbrenner will also sign a special Around the World globe. This collectors item can be won via the One World app.
Here’s what a few artists had to say on One World Radio
This weekend at Tomorrowland Around the World, we’re releasing our brand-new track with Regard. It took ages to get it cleared, but we finally got Beyoncé’s permission. We have been playing with the idea for a long time and I think we have found something that is pretty unique style wise, combining all the spectrums in between, and especially to get the permission to actually do it. Normally, it’s always a no if you want to do something with the vocals of Beyoncé or Destiny’s Child. It took a while, but we got it done!

At some point, I got to the top of my success and it became more and more difficult to experiment. There was a point when I was so tired of this, so I did a full year where I was just doing Jack Back and the Future Rave project with MORTEN. This gave me a lot of happiness and I wasn’t trying to make records to get on the radio. I really was just having fun and making darker music. In the last three months, I’ve worked harder than ever on happy tunes as David Guetta.” Guetta also talks about his exclusive set during Tomorrowland Around the World: “It’s not even this type of music. It’s really different.

The label is set up, the logo is there and the first releases are finally getting planned. This summer the music is coming out, I’m really excited!
